Not long now until we start to eat, sleep and breathe all things pumpkin!! We'll be making spooky decorations on Thursday 24th October between 11am and 3pm with Toni from Tiger Textiles - just drop in to take part (children welcome) as the lovely people from Nature in Mind carve their pumpkins. On Friday a group of Cubs and Scouts will be carving pumpkins by candlelight. On Saturday, a bunch of crack pumpkin carvers will gather at a secret location to carve show-stopper pumpkins, then on Sunday morning 27th, we'll hold a pumpkin carving class for adults and older children before we have our main event in the afternoon.
Hope we'll see you there!
Welcome to the Secret Garden South of Bobber's Mill Bridge in Nottingham
Welcome to Windmill Community Gardens, home of the Climate Friendly Gardeners Project.
We are a group of local people, who are nurturing a wonderful community garden in the heart of the city. You'll find us just South of Bobbersmill Bridge, on the allotment site at the South end of Ascot Road. The Gardens are a great place where anyone can come to find out more about growing their own food in a changing climate. We cater for all abilities and welcome any nationality or age group.
Why not come and join us?
