Well done to all the hard-working pupils from Robert Shaw Primary School who braved the rain today to work at the allotment. Despite getting soggy, they helped us to pot up strawberry runners, weed the paths and best of all, they all got to make and eat pizza using the tomatoes that their school-mates planted in the Spring. We've been doing this for 3 years now, so it's quite a tradition, and we hope this year's classes will be able to carry it on, planting tomatoes for the following year's pupils.

Kneeding the dough and shaping it. |

Adding the toppings - with lashings of fresh tomato |

Perfect pizza in progress! |
|
Now all we need to do is eat it! |
